WAVY WAY
“The wavy sculpture”
A sculpture of a way that shows a movement with interesting forms and shadows. The sunlight creates wonderful shadows who makes the design more complex and gives different perspectives from inside and outside. People who walk through the Wavy Way moves and the space become different every step they make. The Character features of the design of Wavy Way are movement, curling and layered.
RADLERSTATION
The Radlerstation is a design i made in a projectweek of the department Architecture in my Erasmus period in Linz (Austria). A Radlerstation is a kind of stop for bikers with a restaurant, bicycle storage and terrace.
The design had to be situated between a piece of forest and the Danube River. The different functions had a firm surfaces in terms of space. All the functions are situated in a logical way to get the good effects and good views of the context where The Radlerstation stands.
FLOATING CONTRAST
“Making organic forms with geometric lines”
A bar that’s both open and closed, solid and transparent and organic and geometric. In this bar people feel like they are floating. People take a seat on the wooden stairs that are connected to the transparent walls. When you stand on different sides of the bar, you will see an open and a closed grid. Due to the layering of the walls it creates a kind of domino effect. The bar that will surprise.
This project I have done in collaboration with Malissa Geersing. It was in the first semester of my second year of Academy Minerva.
